Safe and Comfortable Detoxification for Clients with Chemical Dependencies

For many of our clients, eliminating a chemical dependency brings both physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms that can be unpleasant or even dangerous. For clients whose needs require medical supervision, we offer medically-monitored alcohol and drug detox to ensure safe treatment in a professional setting.

If your chemical dependency requires detox, then we want to make the process as comfortable as possible. At Oceanfront Recovery, we want to help you overcome the physical and psychological hurdles of your chemical dependency so that we can better focus on treating your addiction from the ground up.

Managing Co-Occurring Disorders in Dual Diagnosis Clients

Alcohol and drug addiction are sometimes just one piece of a larger puzzle. Dual diagnosis clients bring unique challenges that require a different, more intricate approach. Co-occurring disorders are defined as mental disorders that accompany a substance use disorder. Varying on a client-to-client basis, co-occurring disorders may be pre-existing conditions that predate the addiction or may develop as a result of substance abuse.

Some common co-occurring disorders include major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In order to provide our dual diagnosis clients with the best chance at a successful recovery, we firmly believe in treating the mind in unison with the body through regular therapy, counseling and one-on-one care.

Adaptable Treatment for Executives and Professionals

Our inpatient and outpatient treatment programs are open to men and women of any age, but sometimes clients may require a unique approach due to the nature of their professional responsibilities. Not every patient is able to take a leave of absence and focus on their recovery without repercussions to their professional duties.

While working with executives and business professionals presents a different set of challenges, we provide our executive program to allow working men and women the ability to receive the treatment they need while accommodating their unavoidable responsibilities. Work duties should never take precedence over your own health, but we understand how difficult or even impossible stepping away can be. With this specialized program, we offer clients the ability to get the help they need without abandoning the other important aspects of their lives.

Aftercare and Transitional Treatment for All Clients

While we hope to successfully treat every client by the time they leave our inpatient and outpatient programs, we know that recovery does not end when clients step out of our facility. Combating and overcoming addiction is a lifelong process that requires a working knowledge of the disease of addiction, how to avoid relapse triggers and how to maintain a healthy and sober lifestyle after undergoing treatment.

Our transitional program focuses on clients who have completed treatment at our facility but are interested in continuous aftercare to ensure a smooth and healthy transition as they resume work, school and other regular responsibilities. Clients enrolled in our transitional program will continue to collaborate alongside the same staff members that they previously worked and bonded with during their initial recovery process.

Aftercare is an essential part of recovery, and we work to provide every tool and resource for our clients need both before and after undergoing treatment at Oceanfront Recovery.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program for Independent Clients

For clients with a less immediate need for addiction treatment, we offer our intensive outpatient program (IOP). IOP is a step down from full residential treatment and is intended for individuals who do not require medical supervision or around-the-clock care while they focus on recovery. Clients enrolled in our IOP typically spend several hours per day working on recovery at our facilities but are able to return home following treatment.

Our IOP is ideal for clients who have outside responsibilities such as school, work or childcare and who do not require the full extent of residential treatment. While inpatient treatment offers a great degree of effectiveness, we understand that an outpatient approach may be the right method for the right client.
